Siegfried the Mighty Warrior - Part 2
We can never predict from where inspiration will strike and with that in mind, I will also blog about various work that I've found influencial over the years.
In the second part of the book, the Tuetonic countryside has been invaded by Attilla and his Huns. Kreimhilda is still grieving over the death of Siegfried, whom she realizes now that she loved. Because of her guilt in unwhitingly helping to kill Siegfried, Kreimhilda chooses to consort with Attilla in an effort to realize her revenge against her brothers for Siegfried's death.
